At a time when Customer Service is relegated to Oxy-Moron status, I'm happy to report it is alive and well at Cycle Country. I live in Northern Washington, 250 miles away, but bought at Cycle Country because they had the used bike I was looking for. I caught a ride to Salem and drove the bike as far as Kelso before night and cold got the better of me. Next morning the battery was too weak to start the bike, and I called Dan at Cycle Country, who sent Paul to install a new battery at no charge. Got home and let the bike sit a couple days and then had trouble getting it to start. Paul came to my house, trailered it back to Salem, installed a new starter, and delivered it back to me. A couple days later, I again experienced starting issues, and again they trailered it back to their shop where a defective battery was replaced. While I feared hearing "you bought it as is," what I got instead was exceptional customer service, courtesy and integrity. Travel time alone was over 2,000 miles and four days! Don't hesitate to give Cycle Country your business, I can attest they deserve it. Kudos, and Thank You!

I have been employed by Cycle Country three years now, and during my time here I have also brought my two bullies, Max and Clyde, in to visit customers and coworkers alike. September of this year, I lost Max, aka #callsignlunchbox, to an accident. As soon as my coworkers--my family--found out what had happened, Curt Barker immediately sent staff to my home to make sure I was ok, as Max was my service dog. These people understand family. Several years ago I purchased a Honda walk-behind mower from Cycle Country. Its been the best mower Ive owned, and I take it back to them every year for service. They do a great job, are always pleasant and helpful to deal with, and keep the parts working as long as possible before replacing. This month I went back to pick up the mower and when I tried to start my car, the ignition cylinder was jammed and unable to turn. Several Cycle Country employees stayed after quitting time to try to get it working. When that failed, they kept my car safe in their secured area until it could be repaired, and even provided a ride home so that I wouldnt be left there alone. Im not a high-dollar customer. I just get my mower serviced once a year. But I cant say enough for the customer care Ive always received in the past as well as in this unexpected situation. Thank you Service team and Edward in Sales for all your help.

1. I bought new motorcycle tires and had them mounted on a day bad weather was present. Todd greated me at the shop and made sure I was able to get home before the worst of the weather arrived. Not to mention, excellent coffee while I waited. 2. My father-n-law was getting ready to go hunting out of state with in two days. We discovered his four wheeler had a fuel leak. He called around to a few shops and Cycle Country said to bring it in. They fixed the leak and had him on the road in time to use the four wheeler while hunting. I just want to thank Tod and the service Department for always doing great work on my 2010 GL1800 Goldwing. I was planning on going to Wing Ding 38 in Billings Montana this year. I told Tod I needed a service and a general check of my bike. Tod got my bike right in and performed the service in no time. He told me everything was taken care and looked good. My first day of the ride was 444 miles to Coeur D' Alene Idaho. Second day was 507 miles to Billings Montana. No problems what so ever... well except for my old back. It was hurting pretty bad but nothing Tod could do about that... or could he? I did a bit of riding in Montana and rode all the way home at a total of 2086 miles. Not one problem with the bike what so ever. I want to thank God, Honda, and Cycle Country for an extremely enjoyable trip. I will continue to be a grateful customer of Tod and Cycle Country. My husband and I wanted to get some type of a UTV to have for fun. We went into cycle country and instantly was greeted and he was super into helping us And finding exactly want we would like. We ended up having to wait a little bit to get final papers signed and we had our 3 young kids with us and everyone there was so patient and helpful. They got them balloons-suckers-slingkies- and just wanted to play!!! It was such an amazing experience and to top off our experience is we were going to have to pick up our new UTV the next day but one of the employees offered to bring it to our house after he was off work! I was on a motorbike trip down the Oregon Coast from Canada in September 2013. My 2001 Suzuki SV650S developed a problem in the rain of the front cylinder shutting down. I found Cycle Country was the closest shop from Lincoln City, OR. I arrived at the shop on a Tuesday at 9am. Corey was great in getting my bike looked at as soon as possible. Rick quickly figured out the problem and replaced the spark plug wire, tested it and all was good. I was on my way by noon. I was able to finish my trip, many days in the rain, with no more problems. "We rencently bought a our 2013 polaris rzr 900 here at cycle country, after shopping around at the other local dealers in the portland area. Cycle country was diffrent from all the others. They have a friendly helpful staff, that treats you as if you are family. We ordered doors for our razor and were expeted to wait aleast 7 days before they came in. The next day when we went to pick up our razor the doors had come in and were already on it. That was a big awesome suprise! Thanks Corey for making that happen! Called their parts department on Friday night and they had one ready to go Saturday mourning. "Wow where do i start? cycle country(service manager) saved my butt!!! i bought a bike at another salem dealership that sold honda's(dont buy there) and they did work on my bike before it was bought. so i buy it and it has a massive oil leak with the bike only having 200 miles on it and they refused to help me with this what so ever!!! and yes i was dealing with the owner who was anything but helpful or even pretended he gave a crap! cycle country stepped up bigtime even though i didnt buy the bike from them and took care of the problem for free!!!!! and my bike had no warranty. like i said the other dealer had this motor apart and now its leaking oil bigtime with 200 miles on it! my mistake was not buying the bike from cycle country and from now on any honda i buy is coming from cycle country!!!! i cant thank these guys enough! what a great job they did and now i no why there are dealers folding all around and cycle country is alive and well. thanks a million cory you guys rock!!!!!!!"

" When I could no longer get my wheelbarrow through the mud, I went to Cycle Country hoping to find a small, affordable UTV that I could use primarily to haul things around my little 5-acre farm. I spent a few minutes explaining to Curt Barker what I would like to be able to do, and he immediately identified exactly what I need -- and BOY, WAS HE RIGHT ON!! We set up a time for me to come over and test drive a Polaris Sportsman 300. Curt taught me how all the gizmos work and how to safely ride the machine. Then Curt introduced me to Jerry. Jerry showed me the various hitches and all the things that I could do with the Polaris, and I was thrilled. I can hitch so many different thingts to this little Polaris that I now know that I don't have to wait for three years to save enough money for a tractor -- I don't need one! Jerry and Curt helped me pick out exactly what I needed for the immediate task -- a Moose trailer -- and they helped me pick out a field mower that I hope to buy next spring, too! :) And if all that help wasn't enough, they then helped me find exactly the right rain gear, so I can do all this work in the mud without ruining all my clothes, and a helmut to protect my li'l noggin. Then Todd helped me through signing all the forms and figure out the right warranty and service plan to buy. He was terrific for helping take the stress out of the scariest part of the process -- the contracts and paperwork. Now, I was already impressed with the service, but on top of all of that, Curt brought my new Polaris and Moose trailer to my house way out here in Willamina for no charge! The guys at Cycle Country are SUPER. I would recommend the store to anyone as a terrific place to go for finding wonderful people who will help find exactly the right machine and make it all seem easy and fun! In addition, I now have been using my Polaris for a few days, going up and down my hilly pastures through icky mud and in pouring rain. I am so impressed with how easy it is to operate and how well it does everything I ask it to do! Curt really knew what he was talking about, and I am delighted with the machine! "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Jim Smith and Kyle Holland for the way they handled a mechanical defect with my motorcycle. I bought my bike new at Cycle Country in 2005. At 8000 miles the cam chains went out, which is extremely rare. The $1600 repair was covered under the extended warranty. Just recently it happened again. This time the repair was not covered by the warranty so was my responsibility. Since this is so rare, my salesman Kyle Holland agreed this was a defect in the bike and he would do all that he could to take care of this. However, when he went to the manufacturer they wimped out and said it was my tough luck. Kyle went to Cycle Country owner Jim Smith. He agreed the problem was a defect in the bike and authorized Cycle Country to fix the problem at no cost to me. I have purchased several motorcycles at Cycle Country from Kyle. This latest incident reinforces the feelings that I've always had about this dealership when it comes to customer service, both during and after a sale. A person can go to a lot of places and get a good buy on a motorcycle especially during these times. One would have to look long and hard to to find a dealer so concerned with customer service and keeping long time customers coming back through the years. If you are thinking about buying a motorcycle and are looking for a dealer where it truly seems a man's handshake is as good as a signed contract, Cycle Country is the place to go. And, because of this great service I bought another motorcycle! "

Chris and Rob took very good care of me, starting off with a friendly "Hi how are you" and finished up with a "how can we help you". "Wow, it has been a year this week since I bought my Suzuki M109 LE. My first experience with these folks was fantastic. I had gone all over Salem and Portland looking for THE bike. My feeling is, if I am going to spend that much money on something I at least want to have fun doing it. Well it has been a year and I have not had one complaint about these people. Since that time anytime my son(11) & I visited the dealership the staff there always had time to answer his many questions. I finally decided to purchase a motorcycle for him last year(2006). We made the purchase from Todd Thomas who was not the only sales rep that had help, but he bore the brunt of the questions. Since then we have purchased a used ATV and a utility trailer to haul all the toys in and would recommend the dealership to anyone that wants to feel comfortable about making this type of purchase.
